I'm David Michael Akers a freelance web developer. Even though I've been doing web development since the late 90's I still manage to keep updated on the latest web technology trends like Drupal, Facebook Apps, and the stuff that's so new that I can't even talk about it yet. Most of my clients are web design agencies. I provide them an economical alternative to employing a full-time in-house expert. Because I generally work for other design firms most of my work is made for hire. 

I work  from and live in Fayetteville, North Carolina with my wife Cherridon and our three children. Fayetteville was named “America’s Most Pro-Military Town” by TIME Magazine, which is no surprise since it is the home of Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base.  We enjoy the people and culture here, especially Manna Church.

Did I mention that we have three children? My son Asher and daughter Jubilee are just over 2 years old now and our newest is about 8 months old. If you call me and hear a baby crying in the background - well that's part of hiring a programmer that works from a home office I suppose. I also tend to work strange hours (it's 4:14 am as I write this now).
